Choir

St George’s are a very active and friendly Anglican Church Choir, singing a service of Choral Eucharist most Sundays in the beautiful choir-stalls of our historic church. In 2022 we plan to start some Evening Services – including BCP Choral Evensong, and will also be taking some services out to rural churches in our Diocese of Hereford. We’re in the process of expanding the choir, developing our repertoire, and improving our reading and singing skills. Most importantly, we’re having a great time in the service of God, and the recent amazing feedback from congregations has been most encouraging.

If you’re keen on singing, and you’d like to join us, you’re welcome. There are no scary auditions – just call the organist and choirmaster Dr Paul Bracken on 0795-167-4428, and then come along to a Friday rehearsal to see if you like it.

Paul also plays the piano professionally, offering a wide repertoire of jazz/swing/blues and popular classics for wedding receptions/corporate functions/conferences under the stage name Paul Ricard.
