Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

St George’s Church will be open today, Friday 9th September to light a candle and to offer prayers of thanks for the life and service of our Queen and prayers for King Charles III. There will also be an official book of condolences for people to sign which will be delivered to Buckingham Palace in due course.
The Repair Shop will be cancelled for this month.
