Rea Valley Foodbank
St George’s is home to Rea Valley Foodbank, which launched on Thursday September 29th and operates every Thursday morning from 10-12. We are pleased to offer a home to this vital provision, opening at a critical time for our community, where there is genuine food poverty in small pockets and where too many are struggling to make ends meet.
St George’s is also host to a food collection point in the foyer, where members of the community may donate long-life, in-date goods any day of the week from 9-5 p.m.
Our harvest appeal in 2022 is in support of the foodbank.
