Church Life

St George’s is a very active church with many activities available through all ages.

Little Dragons: for pre-school aged children and their carers; meeting on Tuesdays during term time from 10:00 am.
Choir: meeting on Fridays during term time at 6:30 pm. Currently we are only an adult choir.
Bell ringers: currently meet infrequently as there are not enough ringers.
Flowers: a group of talented people who arrange the flowers in the church.
‘Pray Bake Read’ is a project adopted from the Lichfield Diocese, which engages the local Primary School
Friday coffee: coffee (or tea) and biscuits are served from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.
Men’s breakfast: this group meets in the Horseshoes Inn on the last Saturday morning of the month (except August) at 8:30 am. for a light breakfast, quiz and a talk.
