From the Dragons’ Den
How time flies! Days speeding by faster and faster. Resolutions made and already broken, possibly forgotten, as day to day living absorbs us. Life seems to be lived at an increasingly hectic pace and the phrase, ‘Stop the world, I want to get off!’ may have entered into the thoughts of some.
However………. snowdrops and crocuses are pushing through the soil; their tips reminding us that spring is almost upon us, despite what daily weather reports might make us think. Days are slightly longer and the dark of night doesn’t last quite as long.
If you are a person who suffers from SAD – Seasonal Affective Disorder (I think!) then perhaps you need a rejuvenating session at Little Dragons. There, whatever the weather and temperature outside, there is sunshine, warmth and many smiles inside as our little members go about their work/play activities, bringing joy and sunshine into our church building.
Oh the joy of the young, here in our part of the world at least; when the worst problem might be whether one can push the pedals round on the bigger bicycle or whether the play dough will roll out to have the desired effect, or whether there is enough glitter on the picture and whether it is best to scatter a bit more glitter on the floor to enhance the wooden tiles.
Perhaps you might care to come along for a visit and share the joy of story time and singing. As long as you know the words to ‘The Grand Old Duke of York!’ you will be able to cope – and there could be a cup of coffee on offer.
If you would like to visit one Tuesday morning, between 10.00 am and 11.30 am, to see, share and enjoy a few minutes with us, please let Barbara, Marion or myself know and we will be sure to welcome you.
With every good wish from all at Little Dragons, Val Butterworth
